Supply List for 2019-2020
The following is a list of supplies your child will need in our classroom. Be sure to take advantage of the great summer sales offered at local stores! While brand names are preferred, they are not required. However, they do last much longer and perform better in the classroom.
The following is a list of donations that would be GREATLY appreciated:
Please send in $8 cash in an envelope for a subscription to a magazine which enriches our Social Studies curriculum. Make sure to put your child’s name on the envelope.
Finally, please send in a note on the 1st day of school telling me how your child will be getting home that day (ex: picked up by Grandpa, goes to the Y, rides the Blue Bus).

The following is a list of supplies your child will need in our classroom. Be sure to take advantage of the great summer sales offered at local stores! While brand names are preferred, they are not required. However, they do last much longer and perform better in the classroom.
- 6 hard-covered marble notebooks (a.k.a. composition notebooks) No spiral notebooks, please!!!!! You may also want to keep an extra notebook at home in case your child goes through a certain notebook faster than anticipated. If he or she does not use it this year, it will certainly be used next year. Often you can find them for $0.50 on sale, so keep your eye out for a good deal.
- 3 plastic folders with pockets on the bottom (The plastic ones are more durable and can be re-used. Cardboard ones are fine but it would be wise to reinforce with packing tape!)
- 1 dozen sharpened #2 pencils with erasers (Keeping extra pencils at home is always a good idea)
- 1 box of Crayola crayons (24 count is MORE than enough and it’s a good idea to tape the bottom of the box)
- 1 box of washable Crayola markers
- 1 box of Crayola colored pencils (optional)
- 1 pack of 3x3 post it notes-lined if possible (Post-It Brand)
- 4 black Sharpie markers (2 fine and 2 ultra fine-for art projects)

- 1 ruler-LABEL WITH NAME
- Coloring/Activity book- LABEL WITH NAME
- 1 pair of kid’s safety scissors-LABEL WITH NAME
- Pencil sharpener (To be kept at HOME)
